What you may do
Use it in production, including running it to host your own hosting customers. That is the additional use grant, and it is deliberately broad: a control panel that cannot be used to host customers would have no purpose.
What you may not do
Offer Maran itself as a hosted or managed control panel service to third parties, and sell, resell, relicense or redistribute it as your own commercial product.
When it changes
On 29 August 2030 the licence converts to the Apache License, Version 2.0, and every restriction above ends. The change date is written into the licence itself rather than promised, so it does not depend on anybody's later decision.
Commercial modules
The panel is free to self-host. Commercial modules are distributed separately and require a licence key; see licence and pricing for how verification works and what happens when the licence service cannot be reached.
Contributing
Contributions are licensed under the same terms, and the contributor keeps their copyright. The licence is about selling the software as a service, not about who may work on it.
